Unemployment affects almost every family in America. Maybe it’s your favorite cousin, your Dad, your sister, your spouse or even you. Workforce development centers help people gain needed skills and/or find employment. They are critical to our country’s economic recovery.
House moves to close workforce development centers
Funding for the country’s comprehensive workforce development system would be eliminated effective July 1, 2011 under the Continuing Resolution passed by the U.S.House of Representatives.
